Adjustments can empower us to travel the terrain of our own bodies, discover new space, and access points we may have never have noticed before. A good adjustment organizes a body and provides the recipient new information that reveals new possibilities in practice.

We think of practice as the process of building routes within the body to more steadily access the aspects of self. Hands on adjustments are a tool to help you navigate the route. An adjustment has the potential to move you into new territory in your body and your mind; using the physical to shift the neurological.
Just like reading a map, with practice and time you are able to figure out how to get yourself to the same destination independently. In this way, adjustments help to empower us to travel the terrain of our own bodies, discovering new space, and accessing points we may have never noticed before.
Giving an adjustment as a teacher is like taking the steering wheel for someone and guiding them with accuracy into new territory in their body. This necessitates an understanding of form and theory to be able to successfully guide not only the trajectory of a pose, but also to harness the curiosity of the mind so that practice becomes an endless exploration of nuance and subtlety.
In this workshop you will:
Explore the geometry, structure and theory of the poses.
